Marty Lacey, Treasurer
Marty has been with the BVO Board for since 1999. She is not only our Treasurer, but she ensures we have adequate storage in the Treasure Shop when donations overwhelm our space! She has been known to defrost our freezer and wax our floors when she is not busy balancing our books! Marty was named Town of the Blue Mountains volunteer of the year in 2003.

Rita Mary Coté, Past Chair
Rita Mary has been a part of the BVO family for over 16 years. She chairs our Volunteer Committee and composes many notes of sincere gratitude to all the wonderful folks who donate to BVO. Rita Mary was BVO's volunteer of the year for 2002!

Catherine Innes, Secretary
Cathy joined the BVO Board in 2004 and sits on the Finance Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee. As well as Board duties, Cathy volunteers in the Treasure Shop.

Karen Newton-Stewart, Vice Chair
Karen joined the BVO Board in 2005. Her first task was to organise and manage the 2005 Annual Silent Auction - it was a great success. She also sits on the Communications Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee. Her knowledge of marketing and advertising are a great benefit to BVO.

Mary Johnston, Director
Mary has been part of the BVO family for over 11 years. Her energy helps to ensure the success of the Treasure Shop! Mary seldom declines a task and is ever ready to rollup her sleeves and get the job done. Mary was BVO's volunteer of the year in 2001!

Guy Harris, Director
Guy has just joined the 2007-2008 BVO Board. He has been an active member of our Communications Committee for the last year and was a volunteer at our Breakfast Club for several years. Guy advocates for children and is at ease with public speaking. We are happy to welcome him to our Board. As his initiation, he was tasked with chairing our 2007 Annual General Meeting - a job well done!
Sue Bisset, Director
From the moment she walked through our doors and said she wanted to volunteer at BVO, we knew Sue would bring a friendly smile and an effervescent energy to our organization. Sue is new to our community and we are grateful that she will be sharing her many skills with BVO. Sue joins the 2007/2008 BVO Board of Directors.

Terry Blackman,
Pat Hartlen,
Pat has been involved in a variety of volunteer positions and when she moved to the Town of the Blue Mountains we were fortunate to have her join BVO. Pat has been on the Board since 2009 and has been involved with the Silent Auction, Volunteer Committee, Christmas Hampers and anywhere else she could be of assistance. Along with her Board responsibilities, Pat works regularly in the Treasure Shop and with the Good Food Box Program. Pat says she is impressed with the good work that BVO does for the community and is grateful to be a part of it. We are grateful for Pat too!
Norine Baron, Chair
Norine has been a part of the BVO family from the very beginning. Over the last 25 years she has assumed a number of different positions on the Board and participated in virtually every service and/or event that BVO offers. From August 2006 to August 2007, Norine acted as a temporary Executive Director to cover some of Carolyn's responsibilites whilst Carolyn was away. In September, Norine returned to the Board and will assume the role of Chair.

Code of Ethics
All BVO staff members are expected to meet and follow the following standards of conduct:
- I shall fulfill my obligations and responsibilities with integrity.
- I shall protect the privacy of those who use the services of BVO and hold in confidence all acquired information concerning clients, staff, board members, donors and volunteers.
- I shall serve clients in a friendly, respectful, conscientious and efficient manner.
- I shall treat other BVO staff, volunteers and board members with respect and work co-operatively with them.
- I shall treat Beaver Valley Outreach, its services and programs with dignity and respect and conduct myself in a manner conducive to the well-being of the organization.
Oath of Confidentiality
All BVO staff members are expected to take an oath of confidentiality.
- I will not engage in discussion of situations or cases within or outside of BVO except on a need to know basis as is required for the appropriate conduct of Beaver Valley Outreach.
- I undertake, as part of the condition of my employment, to keep in strict confidence any information concerning participants of BVO programs and services or any persons who donate to BVO.
Carolyn Letourneau, Executive Director
Carolyn has been with BVO since 2003. She is the point person for all of our emergency services and she oversees all of our children's programs, many of our services and several BVO annual events. Carolyn works closely with our Board of Directors and staff to ensure effective communication and operation of our growing organization.

Jennifer Gordon, Supervisor, Kids Club and Crayon Box Nursery School / Coordinator Hip and Cool Start School
Jennifer has been with BVO since 2000. She is the contact person for both our Kids Club [before and after school program] and Crayon Box Nursery School. Jen alo coordinates our Hip and Cool Start School Cool program run each summer at the Beaver Valley Community School. Her skills with children make her a very warm and wonderful early childhood educator! Jen continues to update her skills by attending relevant child care workshops.

Sherrie Lee, Coordinator for Ontario Early Years ; Assistant - Crayon Box and Kids Club; Coordinator of Good Food Box
Sherrie joined our Crayon Box Nursery School in 2005 and effective Sept 2006 became our Coordinator for the Ontario Early Years Centre, as well as an assistant with Kids Club. Sherrie brings to BVO the skills AND benefits of over 20 years working in early chidhood education. Sherrie is also the contact person for Good Food Box. Lastly, Sherrie successfully coordinated our 2006 Annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner where over 700 meals were served or delivered! She is a wonderful energy at BVO!

Sharon Baker, Assistant - Kids Club
Sharon has been with BVO since 1998 and assists in our before and after school program called Kids Club. Sharon's experience with children make her an easy fit for this program. Sharon continues to update her skills with relevant workshops.
