To buy your ticket for the A Party To Die For event at Lora Bay, October 27th, 2018:
BVO is moving to its new, more accessible and centrally-located site on King Street in Thornbury. Our new premises will offer an efficient, functional and safe space from which to continue "making good things happen in our community". It offers single level accessibility, plenty of parking, volunteer and community gathering/meeting space, on-site storage, private meeting space, and both a retail and sorting area for the Treasure Shop.
The sale of our current building on Bruce Street has helped considerably to pay down the mortgage required to purchase the new location. "The Heart of Our Community" Capital Campaign is to rebuild our new home.
People. That's what this campaign and everything BVO does is all about. Local people. Our current fundraising is focused on paying for the renovations and the expansion of our new home. However, this is ultimately about strengthening our ability to serve local people of all ages!
Thank you in advance for your support and generosity! Donations are gratefully accepted by cash, cheque, on-line credit card, e-transfer or gifts of marketable securities.
A Gift in your Will is another wonderful way to support BVO, make a tremendous community impact and leave a lasting legacy. A few simple words in your Will to share your intention is all it takes. Please contact Carolyn or Jarvis if you would like to discuss your wishes for such a gift, and to get sample wording for your lawyer.
