“Rewarding Good Things”
The Blue Mountains, April 16, 2024 – Beaver Valley Outreach presented four $1000 “Making
Good Things Happen Awards” at its Annual General Meeting on April 10, 2024 to deserving
local organizations who made a positive impact in our community in 2023.
BVO is a recognized charitable, community-based organization of staff and volunteers that
provides quality programs and services to further the social, economic and environmental well-
being of The Blue Mountains community.
In keeping with its mission, the awards were a major highlight of BVO’s celebrations
commemorating its 40 th Anniversary in 2023. The four winners were selected by BVO from
nominations received from the community.

A volunteer group in The Blue Mountains working towards a more sustainable community by reducing our carbon footprint
